My submission for yogscast games - Jingle Game Jam 2025
Theme: 

IF YOU CAN'T BEAT THEM, JOIN THEM

A short 15 minute space simulation game with slight escape and puzzle room elements about getting revenge on alien invaders. 

After being unwillingly brought into the fold of an alien species on your first day at work in UMC (United Mining Colony), save humanity with only your spaceship operating skills and communication equipment.

Update 2025-12-07:  Replaced glass material on the ship windows because they were too reflective. Significantly reduced package Size

Update 2025-12-08: Fixed a few collision errors causing people to shoot out into space way more often than you would like. Added a slight visual hint when the ship powers down to indicate it isn't a bug. Adjusted a number slightly to help players not get too preoccupied with mining in the second half of the game.

Update 2025-12-08: Minor adjustment to lighting and text color so that text would be more readable. Replaced a word by another word because it was too misleading.

Update 2025-12-09: Re-added the earlier build of the game under the name PlanetCrackerGame_Original. To be honest, the game is horrible even with the minor updates. I totally messed up and it's very dissapointing. I don't blame anyone for dropping it after 2 minutes, I would do the same :(
